    Which Way Round?

A few weeks away before finally hitting the road and we are still uncertain which way round and what we will visit first. Alot of people ask "how long are you travelling for" and I guess if we could answer this question then it would make the route planning a hell of a lot easier. The answer we give is 3/6/12/24 months or indefinitely, we will see how we go.

I guess the above question will depend upon:

    • If the change in lifestyle is enjoyable

    • Working on the road / can we find work to top up funds - lets face it, everyone needs $$ even for basic amenities

    • How the dogs cope on the road (they love the smaller trips 3-4 week trips)

    • The house / mortgaged properties remain stable and nothing drastic / expensive happens

Fortunately for me, I received an offer for a short term (4-8 Week) contract in Brisbane commencing Monday January 16th. So we will be heading to Brisbane with a view to head North from there and be up in the tropics for the winter months.
